New Dental Patient Information

Welcome to Chaska Dental Center! We feel privileged that you have decided to entrust your family’s dental health to us. As a new patient, you can depend on Dr. Meschke, Dr. Swingdorf, and our entire team to do our best to make sure you receive the most professional and comprehensive dental care.

Your First Visit

At Chaska Dental Center, we actually like to break our new patient visit into two different appointments. Why? Because getting to know both you and your oral health takes time, and it’s a process we definitely don’t want to rush! Over the course of these appointments, our team will talk, but mostly listen, to learn about your dental history, concerns, and goals.

We’ll take a variety of diagnostic images and scans so we can learn even more about your smile. A comprehensive exam will be performed by one of our dentists, and after we have completed it along with a cleaning, we’ll offer you a variety of treatment options to meet your needs. You’ll be invited to ask as many questions as you like, and then our team will help you find the right financial option for you. Altogether, our goal is to make your smile as healthy as possible and then keep it that way.

An important part of the mission is making the cost of optimal care easy and manageable for our patients.

In order to make dentistry affordable to you, we offer these payment options:

Credit Card Payments

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover for payment in full on the day of treatment.

Dental Insurance

We accept most insurance plans, and our practice is an in-network provider with Delta Dental and Metlife. Our friendly front office team will be happy to assist you in managing your insurance benefits. They will electronically file all dental insurance claims and work with your insurance company to maximize your benefits. Insurance is not a guarantee of payment. Your insurance plan is a contract between you and your insurance company. Recommended treatments will be determined first and foremost by what is best for your dental health, not your insurance coverage.

If our office is unable to verify your insurance information before treatment, you will be expected to pay for services in full on the day of your visit.

For all of our patients, with or without insurance, we will let you know how much you will owe before the day of your appointment. Don't worry about surprises! Please be prepared to pay your estimated portion and any deductibles on the day of your visit.

Financial Options

At Chaska Dental Center, we strive to provide you high-quality treatment with affordable options.

Patients who do not have dental insurance may like to take advantage of our 5% pre-payment savings plan. When a patient pays the entire treatment fee prior to their first appointment date, you will save 5% off the entire cost of your treatment.

Chaska Dental Center now offers financing options as well. We would be happy to meet with you to discuss arrangements for the 5% pre-payment savings, payment options, and financing plans. Simply contact us today.

New Patient Forms

We have made our new patient forms available to you as Adobe Acrobat files. For your convenience, we recommend printing and completing these forms at home.

Please remember to bring your completed forms with you for your first appointment. If you have any problem getting these files to print properly, please call our Chaska dental office and we will gladly send or fax them to you.

Cancellation Policy

Chaska Dental Center unfortunately has to implement a no-show/cancellation policy. Beginning immediately, if an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $75 fee. We are not happy to implement this, but it has become necessary due to increasing instances and loss of time. Thank you for your courtesy and understanding.
