CEREC One-Visit Crowns, Inlays, & Onlays

State-of-the-art CEREC technology lets Dr. Meschke and Dr. Seaverson design, create, and place custom crowns, inlays, and onlays in a single office visit. You won’t need a temporary, and you won’t wait weeks for your permanent restoration. With CEREC, you’re in and out fast – with a beautifully renewed smile!

What is CEREC?
CEREC stands for CEramic REConstruction. The system uses advanced computer technology to design and fabricate custom restorations specific to each patient’s individual needs. Fast, safe, and comfortable, CEREC has revolutionized the way crowns are created.

What are inlays and onlays?
Inlays and onlays are conservative restorations for teeth that need more support than a filling but less than a full crown. An inlay lies between the cusps of a tooth, while an onlay fits over the cusps. Made from porcelain, inlays and onlays are strong, durable, and highly esthetic.

Will my CEREC restoration look natural?
Yes! CEREC restorations blend seamlessly with existing teeth. Our milling machine crafts custom-designed crowns, inlays, and onlays from biocompatible, decay-resistant ceramic that mimics the composition of a natural tooth.

What’s involved?
The design, creation, and placement process takes a couple of hours. We’ll obtain a digital impression of your tooth and submit the information to our custom milling unit. CEREC will fabricate your crown, inlay, or onlay while you wait, then your dentist will permanently bond it in place to esthetically restore your tooth and provide long-lasting strength and durability. It’s that fast – and that easy!
